Technical Leads

A major banking is in the process of digitalizing it’s processes and is looking for Technical Leads to help him do that. 

Direct Account abilities of the Role:

• Designs the overall technological architecture of the product with the help of the team.

• Guides project teams on technology strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment.

• Responsible for the technical design of the product.

• Mentors and coaches technical team, especially with code reviews.

• Be hands on and engage coding to help the team to develop his solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand, identifies and removes technical impediments.

• Works with Product Owner to align the roadmap with strengths and opportunities within technical stack.

• Thought partners with Product Owner in story creation and acceptance criteria, and communicate tradeoffs effectively with Designers.

• Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo.

• Provides the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality.

• Shares responsibility with Product Owner for building reusable and scalable components.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced technical professional with deep insight into news technologies and trends, Java/JVM, and preferably has experience with functional programming (Scala). He should have the ability to make architecture decisions at a team and product level, to be able to code and architect back and front end solutions with multiple types or architecture. Familiar with production Cloud/ DevOps environments.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in technology roles in IT companies, Telecom or the Banking field.

• Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or any related field from an accredited college or university.
