We are hiring for a 5 stars property a General Manager

 

He/She will be responsible for managing the daily operations and drive performance towards achieving the overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest and staff experience while managing profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

As a General Manager, you are responsible for managing the day to day operations by leading the operations team and responsible to deliver overall hotel targets, excellent Guest services and Team Member experience. You will also be required to manage profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks :

Manage profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.

Lead and resolve all key property operational issues including customer service, team engagement, up keeping of resort standards.

Actively support the commercial strategies and commercial performance.

Part of the executive team you will also have to plan CAPEX projects towards guest satisfaction and operational effectiveness & productivity.

Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel .

Deliver on hotel budgets, and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the hotel and define measurable targets to the Heads of Department.

Provide effective leadership to hotel team members, coaching for performance and guest satisfaction.

Comply with Hotel Service Standards

Ensure full compliance to legal and authorities’ requirements

Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team

Report to the company CEO and AGM

Requirement :

Previous experience of at least 3 - 5 years in the same or similar position.

Possess strong commercial acumen, with experience in increasing profitability

Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results.

Excellent leadership skills

Exceptional communication skills

Fluent in German & English, Additional European language will be a plus 

Luxury resort hotels experience at executive level
