I am looking to a hire a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) for a media company (website and mobile app).
Info. about the role:
CTO's are tasked with making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments to align the company with their vision for its technological needs.
A strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in technological development • Exceptional team management skills.
• Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future -well connected.
• Experience with developing applications with Java EE.
• Experience with source control tools(Git).
• Experience with AWS Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with Spring Boot. (Java).
• Experience with consuming and producing Java web services (RESTful APIs).
• Experience with system and application security (Mobile apps and front end and backend).
• Good to have knowledge about Microservices.
• Good to have knowledge about video manipulation (FFMEPG) and video recording (WebRTC).
• 7 years working in a technological role.
• 5 years of managerial experience.
• Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology.
• Masters degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• MBA is a plus.
